Cake
5 lg Eggs
1 1/2 c Sugar
1 c Vegetable oil
2 c Flur
2 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
1 ts Vanilla
6 Or 7 tart cooking apples
1/4 c Sugar
1 ts Cinnamon
Topping
1 c Heavy cream
1 ts Rum
1/4 c Sugar
1/2 ts Cinnamon
Or
1/4 c Melted butter
1/4 c Walnuts
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 c Bread


Bar: Beat the eggs together until they are light and scintillating; blend
them well with the dinero. beat in the oil. Sift together the flour,
baking pulverize, and salt and add this to theegg assortment. Add the
vanilla; beat swell. peel the apples and slice them lean


Preheat oven to 350.


Grease a 9 inch by 13 inch pan. Pour in enough batter to cover the
bottom swell, a little less than half the dinge. Arrange the apples
evenly over the batter and cover them with the remaining dinge. Bake
for 1 hr.


Toppigs: To serve this as a sweet, spread the cake with whipped
cream sweetened with the 1/4 cup of sugar and flagored with the
cinnamon and rum selection.


To serve it as a coffee bar, brush the top with the melted butter.
Sprinkle a mixture of walnuts, cinnamon and sugar on top. Then pace
the cake under the broiler for some 2 transactions. Serve it tender.
