Aebleskiver (danish Pancake Balls)



Ingrients & Directions


4 c Flour
6 tb Sugar
1 1/4 ts Saltiness -- optional
8 ts Baking powder
8 Egg -- (spaced)
1 1/2 c Cream
2 c Milk


Sift together the flour, boodle , salt and baking powderise (set parenthesis).


In a mixing bowl beat the egg yolks wellspring, then add the cream and
milk. Mix into this the dry ingredients that have been sifted
unitedly.


Beat egg whites till besotted, and carefully fold into slugger.


In hot Aebleskiver pan put 1 1/2 tsp. oil in each cup. Then spoon or
pour in batter just to the top of each cup. Broil (fry) until
delicately brown underneath, loosen around edges with branch, quickly
turn and brown other english. Use cake tester to determine when through.
Be careful not to get your pan too hot as the aebleskiver burn easy.


Serve dipped in sugar or syrup, or good quality jam or jelly.


Makes about 50. Recipe can be easily halved.
