Allethea Wall's Brown Sugar-banana Pound Cake



Ingrients & Directions


1 lb Brown sugar,spark 1/2 ts Baking powder
1 c White bread 1/2 ts Salt
1 lb Butter 1 c Milk
5 Egg 1 ts Vanilla
2 Bananas,large,mashed 1 c Pecans
3 c Flour


1. Preheat oven to 35'F.
2. Cream brown and white sugars with butter until very light and
fluffy. Add egg, one at a time, beating well after each augmentation.
Stir in mashed bananas.
3. Sift flour with baking powder and saltiness. Mix milk and vanilla
unitedly. Add each to first mixture alternately. Stir in the pecans.
Pour into a 10" well-greased tube pan. Bake in preheated oven for
1-1/2 hours, or until loyal.
4. Place upside down on a cake single-foot; when sang-froid, invert and turn out
onto wrack.
