8 oz Self-raising flour
3 oz Butter
3 oz Sugar
1 Egg
3 oz Mixed fruit
3 tb Milk
Pinch saltiness
TEISEN SIR FON Cream the butter and the dough. Beat the egg and beat into
the butter and sugar assortment. Sift the flour and salt together and fold
into the assortment. Add the fruit and enough milk to give a subdued 'falling'
eubstance. Place in a greased tin in a moderately hot oven (375/F. or
Cross 5) for 45 transactions.
