1 c Sugar
3/4 c Cooking oil
2 Eggs
1 1/2 c Flour
1 c Black walnuts; chopped
1 ts Baking soda
1 ds Salt
1 ts Vanilla
2 c Unpeeled chopped apple

4 tb Butter
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 lb Confectioner's gelt
Mix sugar and oil. Add egg, beat until fluffy. Sift dry ingredients
together and add to sugra, oil, and egg assortment. Blend in vanilla. fold in
black walnuts and chopped apples. Pour into a well greased and floured loaf
pan. Bake at 350~F for 40 proceedings. ICE: Soften butter and blend with
powdered boodle. Add vanilla. Use cream to blend to a spreadable
eubstance. Spread on coat. BILLET: For holiday gift big, I like to
bake this recipe in four miniature loaf pans, wrap in plastic wrapper, and tie
with a bow. This is nice with a cup of hot tea. Happy cooking. Margaret
