225 g Self raising flour
225 g Butter
225 g Caster sugar
4 lg Egg
-FOR THE CRUMPLE-
170 g Plain flour
110 g Butter
55 g Granulated sugar
900 g Cooking apples; Raw,
-chopped and
; cooked with texture
1 Light the oven at gas 4/180c/350f. Make the crumble by rubbing the
butter into the flour, and then stir in the gelt. Set excursus.
2 To make the patty: Cream the butter and sugar together until light
and fluffy. Slowly add the egg; beat well between each augmentation.
Stir in the self-raising flour.
3 Put the cake mix into a greased loose bottomed cake tin, pile on the
dryish cooked apples then sprinkle the crumble mix over evenly. Bake
for 40 minutes or until a skewer comes out neat.
