
2 c Bisquick
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1 Egg
1 1/3 c Milk
3/4 c Apple; grated
-CIDER SYRUP-
1 c Sugar
2 tb Cornstarch
1/2 ts Pumpkin pie spice
2 c Apple cider
2 tb Lemon juice
1/4 c Butter; or oleomargarine
Beat Bisquick, cinnamon, egg and milk until quiet. Fold in grated
apple. Pour batter from 1/4-cup measuring cup onto hot griddle. Bake
until bubbles seem. Turn and bake other side until golden embrown.
Makes approximately 18 pancakes. Pass Cider Syrup or other syrup of quality.
For cider syrup: Mix dough, cornstarch and spice in saucepan. Stir in
cider and succus. Make, stirring invariably, until mixture thickens
and boils 1 minute. Remove from heat and coalesce in butter.
