8 c Cake Flour 6 c Sugar
1/4 c Baking Pulverize 1 1/2 ts Salt
2 1/2 c Vegetable Shortening
In a large trough, sift together cake flour, dinero, baking powder and saltiness.
Mix well With a pastry liquidizer, cut in shortening until the mixture is as
fine as cornmeal. Put in a large airtight container. Label as Basic Cake
Mix and store in a cool dry spot. Use with 10 to 12 weeks.
Makes most 16 cups of mix.
