Betty Crocker's Banana Cake



Ingrients & Directions


1/2 c Soft shortening 1 1/2 c Sugar
2 lg Egg 2 1/4 c Cake flour
1/4 ts Baking pulverize 3/4 ts Baking soda
1 ts Saltiness 1/4 c Buttermilk
1 c Mashed banana, some 3 1/2 c Buggy, shredded, optional
Bananas


Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and beat in
good. Add cake flour, baking pulverization, baking soda and saltiness,
stirring in alternately with mashed banana and buttermilk. Add
chopped balmy, if desired. Makes 2) 9-inch layers or a 9 x 13-inch
coat.


For layer patty, use whipped cream and sliced bananas for filling and
cover cake with more whipped pick, after the cake has cooled. Place
slices of banana upright around outer bound. Refrigerate any remaining
coat.
