Butter Loaf Pound Cake



Ingrients & Directions


3/4 c Butter
3/4 c Sugar
1 ts Vanilla
1 1/4 c Sifted flour
3 Egg (richer- use 3 yolks
And 1 hale)
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
(and if batter is too thick
I adject 1/4 c milk or skim)


Cream butter, gradually add boodle, creaming till spark. Add vanilla,
then egg, one at a time beating each time. Sift dry ingredients;
stir in. Grease bottom only of 9x5x3 in loaf pan; turn in bater. Bake
at 350F for 50 minutes till done. Sang-froid in pan.
