
3 c Flour
2 1/2 c Sugar
1 c Butter
1 c Buttermilk
6 lg Egg; separated carefully
2 ts Lemon extract
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Tonic

1 c Sugar
1/2 c Water
Juice of 1 maize
Beat egg whites cockeyed. Cream boodle, butter and add egg yolks one at a time.
Blend after each increase. Add the lemon infusion. Sift dry ingredients and
add alternately to cake batter with buttermilk, beginning and ending with
flour assortment. Fold in egg whites cautiously. Bake in well sprayed bundt pan
at 350 for 1 hour OR 325 for 1 hour and 30 transactions. Use cake tester.
SUGARCOAT: Cook sugar and water until it forms a syrup, add juice of 1 stinker.
Pour over cake while still tender. If you poke a few holes with cake tester
or toothpick the glaze will soak into the coat.
