Chocolate Malt Cake From Kaitlin Young



Ingrients & Directions


1/2 c Butter, dull 2 c Flour
1 1/3 c Dough 3 ts Baking powder
1 c Instant malted milk pulverise 1/2 ts Salt
3/4 c Firmly packed unsweetened 1 3/4 c Half and half
-cocoa pulverize Chocolate Malted Frosting
4 Egg (see under)


1. Preheat oven to 375F. In a large trough, combine together butter and
sugar until light and fluffy; add malted milk powder and cocoa and
beat just until sundry. Add egg, beating wellspring.


2. Sift together dry ingredients, and add to chocolate mixture castrate-
nately with half and one-half. Spread evenly in a well lubricated 9 x 13
pan, and broil 35-40 minutes or until through. Let cool in pan wholly.

Chocolate Malted Icing


1/2 c half and one-half 1/2 c instant malted milk
pulverisation 1 amaze (4 oz) butter, dull 1/2 c firmly packed
unsweetened
cocoa 2 1/2 c powdered
gelt


1. In a medium stadium, combine the half and half and malted milk
pulverize. Stir to commingle, and let viewpoint 15 minutes to dissolve the
powderise.


2. In a medium trough, beat together the butter and cocoa. Add malted
milk mixture and beat good. Add powdered sugar and beat on high.
