Chocolate Upside Down Cake



Ingrients & Directions


2 oz Chocolate squares
1 1/3 c Sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 c Sifted cake flour
1/4 ts Salt
2 ts Baking powder
6 tb Shortening
1 c Sugar
2 Egg, well beaten
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Milk


Melt coffee, add condensed milk and mix wellspring. Line greased pans
with paper and grease wallpaper. Pour chocolate mixture into pans and
coolheaded. Sift flour, salt and baking powder unitedly. Cream shortening
with sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat good.
Add sifted dry ingredients and milk alternately in small amounts,
beating thoroughly after each gain. Pour carefully over
chocolate mixture and bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 proceedings.
Makes 2 (8 edge) layers. Annex 1/2 cup chopped nut meats to chocolate
assortment. Or disperse 1/2 cup shredded coconut on top of chocolate
