
2 c Sifted corn meal
;Weewee, frigidness, to mix
1/2 ts Saltiness
Mix meal with water sufficient to grip. Let stand a few minutes to
see if more water is needed to spreading. Have a heavy griddle greased
and hot, pour on the mixture and pat out into a round bar, having
about one-half inch thick; reduce fire and let chocolate-brown, turn and brown
other face. Cook altogether about thirty proceedings. Serve hot with
butter.
