Country Oat Cake



Ingrients & Directions


CAKE
1 pk Spice cake mix (18.5 oz.)
1 c Quaker Oats, uncooked
-- (quick or outmoded)
8 oz Plain low-fat yogurt
3 Egg; OR...
3/4 c -Egg substitute
1/4 c Vegetable oil
1/4 c Water
1 1/2 c Finely chopped apple
-- (most 2 metier)


TOPPING
1 c Quaker Oats, uncooked
-- (quick or passee)
1/2 c Brown bread, firmly packed
1/4 c Margarine or butter; melted
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
Whipped skim (optional)


Heat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch baking pan. For
coat, combine first six ingredients. Blend on low speed of electric
mixer until moistened; mix at medium speeding 2 proceedings. Stir in apple.
Pour into prepared pan. For topping, combine oats, brown clams,
margarine and cinnamon; mix good. Sprinkle evenly over clobber. Bake
40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out
pick. Serve with whipped drub, if desired.
