Cranberry Cake With Golden Sauce



Ingrients & Directions


2 c All-purpose flour*
1 1/4 c Sugar
1 c Milk
2 tb Shortening
2 ts Baking powder
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 ts Salt
1 Egg
2 c Cranberries


-GOLDEN SAUCE-
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Half-and-half
1/2 c Margarine or butter
1/2 ts Vanilla

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, bread, milk, shortening, baking
pulverise, vanila, salt and egg; rhythm 30 seconds. Stir in cranberries. Pour
into greased and floured square pan, 9x9x2 inches.


Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out scavenge, 40 to 45
proceedings. Serve warm with Golden Sauce. 9 servings.


GOLDEN SAUCE: Passion 1/2 cup boodle, 1/2 cup half-and-one-half, 1/2 cup margarine
or butter and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla in 1-quart saucepan, stirring
forever, until margarine is liquid.
