
1/2 c Butter or marge,
-softened
2 c Sugar
4 Eggs
2 c All-purpose flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
5 c Peeled and chopped apple
-(astir 4 large Granny
-Smith or Jonathan apples)
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 1/2 tb Sugar
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
Beat the butter at medium speed with an electric social. Gradually
join 2 cups of clams; beat good. Add the egg, one at a time, beating
after each augmentation.
Combine the flour, baking powder and saltiness; add to the creamed
assortment. Stir in the apple and vanilla. Spoon the batter into a
greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Combine the 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar and the cinnamon; sprinkle
over the cake hitter. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes or until a wooden
pick inserted into the center comes out houseclean. Serve warm or frigidity.
