1/2 c Soy sauce
1/4 c Balsamic vinegar or red wine

3/4 ts Dried oregano; crumbled
1/8 ts Dried crushed red pepper
Potato-Onion Cakes
For steak:
Combine get-go 5 ingredients in glass baking mantrap. Add steak and turn to
coating. Season generously with peppercorn. Cover and refrigerate steak overnight,
turning occasionally.
For peppers and onions:
Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high warmth. Add onions and saute
4 transactions. Add peppers and saute until beginning to weaken, approximately 8
proceedings. Add marjoram and dried red peppercorn. Season to taste with salt and
pepper and splash 2 transactions. Remove from passion.
Bring steak to room temperature. Preheat broiler 5 transactions. Remove steak
from marinate; pat dry. Transfer marinade to heavy small saucepan. Broil
steak to desired degree of doneness, around 10 minutes per side for rare
(meat thermometer will record 125F. for rarified). Transfer to record. Let
viewpoint 10 proceedings
Lag, reheat bell peppers and onions in skillet. Bring marinade to
roil.
Thinly slice steak across ingrain. Arrange on record. Surround with
Potato-Onion Cakes, peppers and onions. Dish, passing marinade severally.
