
2 c Cake flour, sifted
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Sugar
1/2 c Vegetable shortening
1 ts Vanilla extract
2 Eggs
3/4 c Milk
1. Sift toqether flour, baking powder and saltiness. 2. Cream shortening
until light and fluffy.Add sugar gradually to shortening and continue
to beat until mixture is light and fluffy. 3. Add vanilla and eggs to
sugar assortment. Beat till thoroughly combined. 4. Add dry ingredients
alternately with milk. 5. Allow batter to standpoint 10 to 15 transactions. 6.
Occupation 2 heat-resistive, non-metallic 8-inch stave, baking dishes with
paper towels. 7. Pullulate 1/2 of the batter into each baking mantrap. 8.
Heat one layer at a time, uncovered, in Microwave 6 minutes or
until toothpick comes out strip. 9. Allow to cool before removing
from lulu. 10. Frost with Cocoa Ice. (See recipe.)
