Honey Chocolate Cake



Ingrients & Directions


2 1/2 c Sifted Flour
1 ts Baking Powder
1 ts Baking Soda
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Shortening
1/2 c Sugar
3/4 c Honey
1 Egg, Separated
2 oz Cocoa, Melted
1/4 c Water
1/2 c Sour Milk
1 ts Vanilla


Sift flour, baking pulverise, soda and salt unitedly. Cream shortening
with sugar and honey until fluffy. Annex 1/2 cup dry ingredients and
combine. Add beaten yolk and coffee; beat good. Add dry
ingredients and liquids alternately in small amounts, blending after
each adding. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whiteness. Bake in greased pan
in moderate oven 350?F for 40 to 50 transactions.
