
2 c Light Brown Cabbage 1/4 ts Salt
1 c Granulated Dinero 4 Egg Whites
1/4 ts Cream Of Tophus
1. In a pot or bowl set over simmering weewee, mix the sugars, cream of
tophus, salt and egg whites. Over low heat beat steadily with
electric or rotary hand beater until the frosting stands in peaks, no
more 7 mins.
2. Remove from heat and continue beating until thick enough to spreading.
3. To assemble Kentucky Jam Patty, situation 1 layer of cake on serving
scale. Spread on around 1/2 inch of ice. Top with another cake
layer and more icing; continuing until fourth level. Spread
remaining icing over top and sides of the patty. Drape the cake
loosely with wax paper and set aside at room temp for 1 to 2 days
before serving.
