Light Cake



Ingrients & Directions


4 Egg, separated
2 Egg whites
1/2 ts Cream of tartar
1/2 c Butter, room temporary.
1/2 ts Orange or almond extract
2 1/2 ts Vanilla
1 3/4 c Cake flour
1 c + 2 Tbls. confectioners
Sugar
2 ts Baking powder
Fruit or icing


In mixer trough, combining 6 whites & tophus. Beat until stiff peaks
mannikin. Set by. In another trough, combine butter, 4 yolks, selection &
vanilla. Beat until fluffy. Combine flour, clams & baking powderize.
Sift into yolk assortment. Cadence 2 transactions. Gently but thoroughly fold
beaten whites into buffet. Spoon batter into 9" nonstick tube pan.
Bake in preheated 325 oven for 1 hr. Invert pan to chill. Cool
thoroughly before removing from pan. Serve with fruit or frosting.
