1 c Sugar
1 c Raisins
1 c Water
1/2 c Lard
1 ts Baking soda
2 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Ground cloves
1 ts Nutmeg
In a medium sized saucepan, mix together boodle, raisins, water and
embellish. Bring to a boil and stir in baking tonic. Cool and add flour,
salt and spices. Mix swell. Bake in moderate oven.
