
2 c Sliced ripe mangos
2 tb Lemon juice
1 tb Margarine
1/3 c Brown sugar
1/4 c Margarine
3/4 c Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 c Milk
1 1/4 c Flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Saltiness
Pour lemon juice over mangos and let viewpoint 15 proceedings. Melting 1 Tbsp.
margarine in 8 in. cake pan or casserole. (Do not use iron skillet as
mangos will darken.) Add brown sugar and cover with mango slices. To
prepare cake slugger, cream marge; add sugar and drub; add beaten
egg. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. Pour over
mangos and broil 50 to 60 minutes at 375. When cake is through, turn
upside down and serve while warm.
