Maple-cinnamon Cake



Ingrients & Directions


Nonstick vegetable oil spray
1/2 c Unsweetened applesauce
1/2 c Pure maple syrup
1/4 c Vegetable oil
1 lg Egg
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 1/2 c Cake flour
1/2 c (packed) golden brown sugar
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
1/4 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Saltiness


Maple syrup, brown sugar and cinnamon enhance this easy-to-make coat.


Preheat oven to 400?F. Spraying 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan with vegetable oil
sprayer. Whisk folderol, syrup, oil, egg and vanilla in large bowl until
blended. Sift flour, brown boodle, baking powderise, cinnamon, baking soda and
salt into applesauce assortment. Stir to combine. Transfer batter to prepared
pan. Bake cake until edges pull away from sides of pan and tester inserted
into center comes out cleanse, most 28 proceedings. Transfer pan to rack and
cool cake totally. Dig 12 pieces and serve.
