Cream butter and sugar swell. Add eggs one at a time, beating very
well after each augmentation. Add other ingred. Bake in temper (325)
oven approximately 1 hr. Divide batter to make different types. Floured
cherries = cherry pound bar. Caraway seeds for caraway coat.
Glaced fruits = fruit pound bar.

Billet: This cake is very much like a pound bar. Excellent recipe
given to me by my mother-relative-in-law. I have been using it for age.
