3/4 c Cocoa powder
1/2 c Boiling water
3 Sticks butter
2 1/4 c Sugar
1 tb Vanilla
1 c Milk
4 Eggs
3 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Baking pop
FROSTING
4 c Powdered sugar
12 tb Butter - softened
6 tb Milk
3 ts Vanilla
Directions: Dinge - Whisk together the cocoa powder and boiling h2o.
Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy in a separate
roll. Add the vanilla and eggs one at a time, mixing swell. Mix together the
cocoa mixture and the milk. To the egg assortment, alternately add the milk,
cocoa and flour. Lastly, mix in the baking pop. Pour the batter evenly
into ternary 8" cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 transactions.
Icing - In a large bowlful, combine the ingredients with an electric mixer
until quiet. Add more milk if requisite, until frosting is fluffy and
spreadable. Place cake on platter. Spread with ice in layers.
