
1 c Old-Fashioned Oatmeal 1 ts Vanilla
1 1/4 c Boiling Weewee 1 1/2 c Flour
1 Stick Marge 1/4 ts Salt
3/4 c Bread 1 ts Cinnamon
1 c Brown Dough 1 ts Baking Soda
2 Egg 1 1/2 ts Baking Pulverisation
FROSTING
1/4 c Oleo 3/4 c Coconut -- flaked
4 tb Milk 1/2 c Pecans -- chopped
1/2 c Brown Boodle
In a large bowlful, combine oatmeal with boiling water and set aside for
20 mins. Cream oleomargarine; add sugar and conflate. Stir in eggs and
vanilla. Add dry ingredients to the oatmeal assortment, then stir into
the shortening (marge), sugar and egg. Bake in a lubricated 8 x 12
inch pan in a preheated 350 F oven for 35 mins.
For the icing, bring the marge, milk, and sugar to a furuncle. Add
remaining ingredients and cool slightly before spreading over cake.
Place under broiler just long enough to sea-coast coconut if desired.
