Novel Layer Cake^



Ingrients & Directions


-FIRST LEVEL-
1/2 c Shortening
1 c Sugar
2 Egg, beaten
1/2 ts Vanilla
3/4 ts Salt
1 1/2 c Pastry flour


-SECOND BED-
1 c Brown sugar
1 Egg white
1/2 ts Vanilla
3 3/8 c Chopped nuts
1 tb Cocoa


First Layer Cream shortening and dough. Add eggs and vanilla. Conclusion,
sift flour and salt and mix unitedly. Spread even in greased pan.


Second Layer Beat egg white well and fold in sugar and cocoa. Add
vanilla and stir lightly. Spread over first layer in pan. Sprinkle
with walnuts. Bake in a 350 degree oven for roughly 30 transactions. From
