One Bowl Sponge Cake (a Classic!)



Ingrients & Directions


9 Egg, separated
1 1/2 c Sugar
2 tb Lemon juice
1/2 c Cake meal
1/4 c Potato starch


In a large mixing roll, beat the egg whites at low speed for almost 1
transactions, until the whites are loose and have begun to sparkle. Increase the
speed of the mixture to highschool. Gradually add the sugar and continue to beat
for leastwise 5 transactions. Add the yolks and the lemon succus, continue
lacing. Sift the cake meal with the potato starch and add to the mixing
bowlful. Beat until thoroughly blended. Turn the batter into an unlubricated 10
inch tube pan and bake in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 1 hour and ten
transactions. Invert to cool for at least one hr.
