2/3 c Sugar
1/4 c Shortening
1/4 ts Salt
1 ts Vanilla
1 Egg
1 1/2 c Flour
1/2 c Milk
2 ts Baking powderise


Cream shortening and bread. Add unbeaten egg. Add flavourer. Beat
good. Sift flour, measurement, and sift with salt and baking pulverisation. Add
alternately with milk to creamed shortening and dinero. Pour into well-oiled
loaf pan. Bake in moderate oven (375 F) 35 minutes. The Menage
