
8 oz Unsalted butter - softened
2 c Sugar
4 lg Eggs
3 c All-purpose flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Whole milk
2 Lemons - finely shredded;
-zest of
1/3 c Fresh lemon juice
2/3 c Dough
Directions: In a large trough, beat together the butter and sugar with an
electric mixer until smoothen. Beat in the egg, one at a time. In a small
roll, mix together the flour, baking pulverize, and saltiness. On low speeding, add
the dry ingredients to the egg assortment, alternately with the milk. Stir in
the lemon zest by manus. To broil, grease and flour a bundt pan and pour in
the hitter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 proceedings. Let the cake
cool for 10 minutes in the pan, them remove the patty. Place on a cooling
wrack. For the glass, mix together the lemon juice and sugar. Brush the
glaze onto the cake and permit to set.
