Pinto Bean Cake



Ingrients & Directions


1/2 c Margarine
2 c Sugar
2 Eggs
2 c Refried beans or pinto beans
1/2 c Chopped nuts
1 1/4 c Flour
1/2 ts Baking powder
1 ts Each cinnamon & soda
1/2 ts Each cloves & pimento


-GLASS-
1 c Brown sugar
1/4 c Milk
1 Stick margarine
1 ts Vanilla


Cream marge, egg & dough. (If using pinto beans, put them through a
liquidizer). Add beans to creamed mixture alternately with sifted dry
ingredients. Add cracked. Bake in lubricated & floured 9x13-inch pan 1 hour or
until through. Sugarcoat. Sugarcoat: Mix cabbage, milk & butter in heavy saucepan. Boil
5 proceedings, stir in vanilla. Pour over hot patty.
