Rice Griddle Cakes(welsh)



Ingrients & Directions


1/2 lb Rice
1/2 lb Flour
6 oz Castor sugar
1 oz Butter
2 ts Baking powder
1 Egg
1 tb Milk
Pinch saltiness


TEISEN REIS 0'R RADELL Boil the rice and drain good. Sift the
flour, salt and baking powder unitedly. Rub the butter into the flour
and add the rice. Beat the egg and add with enough milk io make a
soft dough that will drop off a spoon. Drop a tablespoonful of the
mixture at a time on to a hot lubricated griddle.
