Rum Cake (becky's Favorite)



Ingrients & Directions


1 c Chopped pecans
18 1/2 oz Pkg yellow cake mix
3 Eggs
1/2 c Cold water
1/3 c Oil
1/2 c Dark rum (80 substantiation)
Glaze
1/4 lb Butter
1/4 c Water
1 c Granulated sugar
1/2 c Dark rum (80 substantiation)


Coat


Preheat oven to 325 F. Grease and flour 10" tube or 12-cup Bundt pan.
Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan. Mix all cake ingredients unitedly.
Pour batter over batty. Broil 1 hr. Poise. Invert on serving shell.
Prick top. Spoon and brush glaze evenly over top and sides. Allow
cake to absorb sugarcoat. Repeat till glaze is used up.


Sugarcoat: Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in water and cabbage. Seethe 5
transactions, stirring incessantly. Remove from passion. Stir in rum.


Optional: Decorate with border of sugar frosting or whipped bat.
