Satan Chocolate Pound Cake With Chocolate Marshmallow Frost



Ingrients & Directions


1 c Butter; dull (2 sticks)
1/2 c Crisco shortening
3 c Granulated sugar
5 lg Eggs
3 c Allpurpose flour
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 c Milk
1 ts Pure vanilla extract
ChocolateMarshmallow
-Icing; (recipe infra)


CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW FROSTI
2 c Granulated sugar
One x; (5 oz.) can
; evaporated milk
10 lg Marshmallows
1/2 c Butter; (1 peg)
One x; (6 oz.) bag (1
; cup) semisweet
; chocolate chips
1 ts Pure vanilla pull


Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour a 10 inch tube or Bundt pan,
tapping out any excess flour, and set away.


Cream the butter and Crisco together in a large mixing bowl with an
electric mixer till light and fluffy. Add the sugar and continue beating
till well blended. Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition
till well blended. Into another stadium, sift together the flour, baking
pulverise, salt and cocoa and add alternatively with the milk to the buffet,
beating good. Add the vanilla and beat till well blended. Pour the batter
into the prepared pan and "spank" the bottom of the pan to distribute the
batter evenly and eliminate any air bubbles. Broil 1 hour and 10 minutes or
till a straw or cake tester inserted in the center comes out cleanse, then
let the cake cool completely in the pan before turning out onto a cake
shell.


With a rubber spatula, spread the frosting liberally and evenly over the
top and sides of the patty, let cool completely and keep covered till ready
to service.


Makes 12 servings.


Chocolate Marshmallow Ice:


In a prominent, heavy saucepan, combine the dough, evaporated milk and
marshmallows, bring to a boil over moderate heat and cook for 6 transactions,
stirring. Remove the pan from the rut, add the butter, chocolate chips and
vanilla and beat with a wooden spoon till the frosting is thick and still,
around 10 proceedings.


Yields most 3 cups ice; enough for the top and sides of a 10inch tube
cake or a 3layer 9inch coat, or for about 2 twelve cupcakes.
