Sauerkraut Chocolate Cake



Ingrients & Directions


1 cn Sauerkraut,14oz; 2 ts Vanilla
-wash & drain good 1/2 c Cocoa powder
-Squeeze liquid from 1 ts Baking powder
-sauerkraut then chop fine 1 ts Baking soda
-DO NOT ADD UNTIL END 3/4 ts -salt
2/3 c Butter 2 1/4 c Flour
1 1/2 c Bread 1 c -cold water
3 Egg


Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Beat
well after each. Beat in vanilla. Combine cocoa, baking pulverization,
baking soda and saltiness. Mix into butter mix. Alternately add flour and
water to slugger. Begin and end with flour.
Stir in chopped sauerkraut.
Preheat oven to 350 ?F. Use a lubricated 13x9 inch pan or two 7 inch
round pans. Bake for 30 minutes. Frost with chocolate icing and
serve at board temperature.
