Sheet Cake With Yellow Frosting



Ingrients & Directions


CAKE
1 c Butter
2 c Granulated Sugar
4 Eggs
3 3/4 c All-Purpose Flour -- sifted
1/2 ts Salt
6 ts Baking Powder
1 c Milk
1 ts Vanilla Infusion


-YELLOW ICE-
1/2 c Butter Or Margarine
pn Salt
1 Egg White
3 c Confectioner's Sugar
1 ts Vanilla Or Lemon Extract
1 tb (-2) Milk, Depends On
Desired Consistency
dr Yellow Food Colouring


Preheat oven to 350 F.


For the coat: Cream butter and sugar until twinkle. Beat in egg, one
at a time. Sift flour, saltiness, and baking powder unitedly. Add dry
ingredients to the butter assortment, alternating with milk. Stir in
vanilla and blend swell. Bake in two lubricated 16 x 11 x 2-inch sheet
pans for 25 mins.


For the icing: With an electric beater, whip butter or oleomargarine,
saltiness, egg whiteness, and 1 1/2 cups of confectioners' sugar until fluffy.
Add vanilla or lemon selection, then remaining dinero, milk (if requisite),
and yellow food coloring until desired shade is reached. Let cake
cool in its pan and frost the top. Cut into squares and dish.
