Ingrients & Directions


2 1/2 c All purpose flour 1/2 c Margarine
1/2 c Clams 1 c Hot water
1 ts Baking tonic 1/2 c Molasses
1/2 ts Saltiness


In mixing stadium, stir together flour, cabbage, baking soda and saltiness. Cut
in margarine until mixture is like crumbs. Set excursus. Stir together
water and molasses. Dispatch 1/3 cup of the crumbs mixture and set
by. Into large amount of crumb assortment, add water and molasses
assortment. Stir until blended. Put in lubricated 8-inch square baking
pan. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25
to 30 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
