Short-cut Fruit Cake



Ingrients & Directions


14 oz Package date bar mix
2/3 c Hot water
3 Eggs
1/4 c Flour
3/4 ts Baking powder
2 tb Light molasses
1 ts Cinnamon
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1/4 ts Allspice
1 c Batty -- chopped
1 c Raisins
8 oz Package candied red and
Green cherries


Grease and flour 6-cup ring mould. In large stadium, stir together date
filling from date bar mix and weewee. Mix in dry crumbly mix, egg, flour,
baking pulverisation, molasses, and spices good. Fold in bonkers, raisins, and
cherries. Spoon into mould. Cover with frustrate. Place metal rack or trivet
in slow-cooking pot. Connect 2 cups hot weewee.* Place filled mold in pot.
Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours. Cool and slash.


* Add more water after first hour of preparation, if needful.
