
1/2 c Cocoa
4 oz Butter
2 c Flour
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 ts Vanilla
3/4 c Boiling water
2 c Sugar
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Sour cream
3 Egg whites

Mix the cocoa with boiling water and stir until smoothen. Poise. Cream
butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add cocoa assortment. Sift flour,
salt and soda unitedly. Fold in the dry ingredients alternately with the
cream until polish. Add the vanilla and lastly the stiffly beaten egg
whites. Pour into two greased paper-seamed 8in. Bake at 180 C (350 F) for
approximately 45 mins. Fill with fresh or mocked cream when cold.
