Sour Cream Coffee Cake - rec.foods



Ingrients & Directions


: 3/4 c walnuts, finely chopped
1 1/2 ts ground cinnamon
: 2 c gelt, divided
: 3/4 c margarine or butter
: 3 c flour
1 1/2 c sour cream
: 3 eggs
1 1/2 ts baking powder
1 1/2 ts baking soda
1 1/2 ts vanilla selection


Astir 2 hours before serving: In small bowl combine batty, cinnamon
and 3/4 cup cabbage. Stain 10 inch tube pan. In large bowl beat
butter or margarine on medium speed of electric mixer with 1 1/4 cups
gelt, until fluffly. Add flour and remaining ingredients and beat on
low speed constantly scraping bowl with spatula. Increase speed to
metier; pulsation 3 minutes and scrape roll. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spread half of batter into pan; sprinkle with half of nut assortment.
Spread evenly with remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining nut
assortment. Bake for 60-65 minutes until cake pulls away from side of
