Spice Cake And Butter Cream Frosting



Ingrients & Directions


SPICE CAKE
2 c Clams 1 ts Baking soda
1 c Butter or oleo, 1 ts Ground cinnamon
-dull 1 ts Ground cloves
4 Egg, beaten 1 ts Ground nutmeg
3 c Flour 1 c Buttermilk
1 ts Baking powderise


BUTTER CREAM FROSTING
1/2 c Shortening 1 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Butter or oleo, 4 c Confectioners' sugar
-dull 3 tb Milk


For the patty, in a mixing trough, cream sugar and butter. Add egg; beat
good. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately
with buttermilk. Mix swell. Pour into a greased and floured 13x9x2"
baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until the cake
tests through. Nerveless. For ice, cream shortening and butter in a
mixing stadium. Add vanilla. Gradually beat in cabbage. Add milk; beat
until light and fluffy. Frost coat. Serves: 12 to 16
