4 tb Butter
1 c Sugar
1 Egg
1 c Flour
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Nutmeg
Saltiness, pinch
1 ts Vanilla
2 c Apples, finely shredded (2lg)
1/2 c Balmy

Cream butter and dough; add egg; sift in dry ingredients. Add vanilla,
batty, and apples. Bake in 8" square pan for 35-40 proceedings. Serve with
