
1 c Butter Or Oleo,
-Softened
1 1/2 c Sugar
5 Eggs
1 c Plum Jam Or Preserves
1/2 c Whipping Cream
2 1/2 c All-Purpose Flour
2 ts Ground Ginger
1 ts Baking Powder
1/2 ts Baking Soda
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Ground Nutmeg
Preheat oven to 325F. In a large trough, cream butter and sugar until
fluffy using an electric sociable. Add egg, ont at a time, beating well
after each extension. Stir in jam and pick. In a medium bowlful, sift
together remaining ingredients. Add dry ingredients to creamed
assortment; beat until polish. Pour batter into a greased and floured
10" tube pan. Broil 1 hour to 1 minute 5 transactions. Test for doneness with
a toothpick. Cool in pan 10 transactions. Remove from pan. Cool completely
on a wire rack. Store in an gas-tight container.
