Sundae Cake



Ingrients & Directions


1 Box Pillsbury yellow cake
-mix
1/2 Jar maraschino cherries;
-chopped
1 c Walnuts; chopped
1/2 Jar butterscotch ice cream
-topping
1/2 Jar hot fudge ice cream
-topping
Icing


This was an off-the-cuff creation that I came up with when trying to use up
some jars of odds and ends left over from an ice cream sundae party (yes,
anne, the one we had last summertime!)


prepare cake mix according to package instructions, add cherries and
walnuts and pour into 9 X 11 baking tin.


Bake according to package instructions.


When cake is through, heat butterscotch and hot fudge in microwave until
runny. Poke holes in the top of the cake with a wooden spoon deal. Pour
butterscotch and fudge over patty. Let cool wholly, icing.


I used a light white ice.


I really thought this would be sickly sweetness, so I took it to work to
inflict on my coworkers (they'll eat anything while talking about how bad
it is) It was actually quite good and they devoured it in almost 20 proceedings.
