Victorian Funeral Cakes



Ingrients & Directions


1 1/2 c Granulated sugar
1 1/2 c All purpose flour
1 tb Baking powder
2 lg Egg -- beaten
1 c Milk
1/4 c Butter -- melted and cooled
1 ts Vanilla extract
1/4 c Confectioners dough


1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Gresae and flour 18 , 2 1/2" gem- tin
cups. 2. In a medium-sized roll ,mix sugar,flour and baking powder.In a
small bowl,mix eggs,milk , melted butter and vanilla. Add to dry
ingredients, stirring just until sundry. 3. Fill muffin cups midway. Bake
on the middle level of oven for 12-15 proceedings. 4. Immediately remove the
cakes from cups and let coolon racks for 15 proceedings. Sift Confectioners
sugar over each bar.
