1/2 c Shortening
2 c Sugar
2 Egg whites
1 ts Baking powder
2 c Flour
1 ts Salt
1 3/4 c Buttermilk
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 ts Almond flavouring
Cream together shortening and boodle; mix in egg whites. Sift dry
ingredients unitedly; mix buttermilk, vanilla and almond flavouring. Adject 2
mixtures alternately to egg white assortment. Spread in 15 x 11" jelly roll
pan. Broil @ 350 degrees, 25 transactions. Frost with Basic Icing when sang-froid.
