Colette's White Cake



Ingrients & Directions


9 oz Each all-purpose and cake
-flour
2 ts Baking powder
2 Sticks unsalted butter; room
-temperature (8
; ounces)
21 oz Sugar
3/4 ts Salt
2 ts Vanilla extract
1 c Egg whites; room temperature
1 1/2 c Milk; room temperature


Pre-heat the oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour 2 (8 or 9)-inch
round pans. Sift together the flours and baking pulverize.


Cream the butter and sugar in a large mixer bowl until fluffy. Add
the salt and vanilla and mix good. Add the egg, scraping the sides
of the bowlful, and mix until light and fluffy. Add the flour mixture in
3 batches alternating with the milk, mixing after each addition and
ending with the flour. Mix just until combined. Do not overmix.


Pour the batter into the prepared pans. Broil 30 to 35 minutes or
until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out cleanse. Cool the
cakes in the pans on wire racks for 15 proceedings. Invert the cakes onto
the racks and remove the pans. Let the cakes cool totally. Wrap
and refrigerate before decorating.

1 pk Lemon cake mix
1 pk Lemon Jell-O
4 Eggs
3/4 c Corn oil
1 c Weewee


Mix all ingredients until moistened. Meter 2-3 minutes at medium speed until
creamy. Pour into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 45 transactions. As soon as you
remove the cake from oven prick entire cake thrusting fork all the way
through. Pour the following mixture on warm cake instantly. =AB c lemon

1 lb Bulk Sausage
1/2 c Onions; chop
14 c Parmesan cheeseflower; grate
1/4 c Swiss cheeseflower; grate
1/4 ts Tabasco
1 1/2 ts Salt
2 tb Parsley; chop
2 c Biscuit mix
3/4 c Milk
1 Egg yolk
1/4 c Mayonnaise
1 ts H2o


Brown the onions and sausage. Drain wellspring. Add the onions, Parmesan, Swiss,
Tabasco, salt and parsley. Make a batter of biscuit mix, milk and mayonnaise.
Spread half of batter in 9x9x2" greased pan. Pour in sausage mixture.
Spread remaining batter on top. Mix egg yolk and water and spread on top.
Bake at 400~ for 25 to 30 minutes until cake leaves edge of pan. Cool for 5
minutes before thinning into 3" squares.

3 1/2 c Flour (to 4 1/2 cups)
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 ts Nutmeg; freshly grated
2 ts Salt
1 ts Lemon rind; grated
1/2 c H2o; lukewarm
3 Eggs
4 Egg yolks
1/2 c Butter; softened
1 Egg, lightly beaten with 1 t
-sp milk
1 Dime, dried bean or miniatur
- doll
3 c Confectioners sugar
1/4 c Lemon succus; strained
3 ts Water or more

Soften yeast in h2o. Combine flour, dinero, nutmeg, salt and lemon rind in
a large bowlful. Make a well in mall. Add yeast assortment, milk, egg, egg
yolks and combine totally. Beat in butter until dough forms a egg.
Place on floured gameboard; incorporate more flour if requisite. Knead until
smooth and pliable. Stir dough in well buttered bowl and turn so all
surfaces are buttered. Cover with a towel and let upgrade 1 1/2 hours or until

can't find it, tint icing with food colouring.

Saffron Noodle Cake With Chatchouka

2 tb Olive oil
2 pn Saffron threads
8 oz Linguine or spaghettini,
Cooked, knackered, rinsed in
Cold water and shaken dry
2 Egg, beaten
1/2 c Grated Parmesan or Asiago
Cheese
1/2 c Finely chopped parsley
1/4 c Finely chopped basil or
Marjoram
Salt and pepper
2 tb Butter or olive oil (or a
Assortment, divided use)
2 To 3 ounces sliced fresh
Mozzarella or other
Soft cheeseflower, such as fete
Chalchouka (recipe follows)


Warm the olive oil in large trough, add the saffron. Set aside to steep
for 15 transactions. Add the pasta, egg, cheese and herbs and mix swell.
Season with salt and plenty of peppercorn. Heat half the butter or butter
olive oil mixture in an 8 or 10-inch nonstick skillet. Add half the
pasta, patting it down and evening it out with your workforce. Lay the
cheese slices on top. Add remaining pasta, also patting polish. Cook
over medium heat until golden on the merchantman, almost 5 proceedings. Place a
plate over the skillet and turn upside down to remove the pasta. Add
remaining butter to skillet, slide the cake back in and cook until
the second side is crisp and prosperous. Cut in wedges and serve with
Chakchouka. Makes 4 servings.

tomato succus. continue preparation. stirring occastionally, until it
thickens, and the peppers are tenderise, approximately 25 proceedings. Tag 1
tablespoon chopped fresh basil.

1 c Chocolate wafer crumbs
1/4 ts Cinnamon
3 tb Oleomargarine, liquid


BODY
4 pk 8-ounce cream cheeseflower, soften
3/4 c Sugar
4 ea Eggs
1/2 c Sour cream
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Semi-sweet chocolate pieces,
2 tb Orange flavored liqueur
1/2 ts Grated orange uncase


STAND: Combine crumbs, cinnamon and marge; press onto bottom of
9-inch springform pan. Bake at 325, 10 transactions.
EUBSTANCE: Combine cream cheese and clams, mixing at medium speed on
electric mixer until well blended. Add egg, one at a time, mixing
well after each increase. Blend in sour cream and vanilla. Blend
chocolate into 3 cups buffet; blend liqueur and peel into remaining
hitter. Pour chocolate batter over impudence. Bake at 350, 30 transactions.
Reduce oven temperature to 325. Spoon remaining batter over
chocolate bed; continue baking 30 transactions. Loosen cake from rim of
pan; cool before removing rim of pan. Chill. Garnish with cocoa
curls, if desired.

2 c Flour
2 ts Cinnamon
2 ts Baking soda
2 ts Baking powder
3 c Grated carrots
1 c Chopped pecans


Beat unitedly: Oil and gelt. Add eggs and beat wellspring.
Sift flour, cinnamon, soda and baking pulverisation. Blend

2 c Buttermilk baking mix
2 tb Sugar
1/4 c Creamy peanut butter
2/3 c Milk

1/2 c Jam or jelly -- (any
Smack)


Heat oven to 400. Grease round pan, 9 X 1 1/2 inches. Mix baking mix and
sugar in medium stadium. Cut in peanut butter with a pastry blender or 2
knives. (Mixture should be collapse.) Mix in milk and egg. Beat
Vigorously 30 seconds. Spread batter in pan. Spread top of batter with jam.
Broil 20 o 25 minutes or until light chocolate-brown. Serves 8

9 oz Semisweet chocolate pieces;
-melted
2 3/4 c Sifted cake flour
1 tb Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
3/4 c Vegatable or all-purpose
-shortening
1 ts Vanilla
1 c Sugar
4 Egg; well beaten
2/3 c Weewee


Ready 2 9-inch round cake pans; grease bottom of pan but; line with
waxed paper cut to fit bum; grease waxed wallpaper.


Melt umber; set aside to coolheaded.


Sift unitedly: cake flour, baking powderise, baking soda and saltiness; set digression.


Cream unitedly: shortening, and vanilla, until shortening is dull. Add
sugar gradually, creaming until fluffy. Add egg, one at a time beating
thoroughly after each augmentation. Stir in cooled coffee.


Add water and dry ingredients in fourths, to creamed assortment. After each
joining, beat only until quiet. Do not overbeat.


Bake at 325 for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool and withdraw
from pans.

6 Raw medium potatoes grated
1 Raw medium onion grated
2 Eggs
1/2 ts Salt
Pepper
4 tb Flour
1 ts Parsley
2 tb Oil


Peel and grate the potatoes. Drain the liquidity. Mix the potatoes with egg,
grated onion, saltiness, parsley, and peppercorn.


Heat the oil in a skillet and then put the dough in, 3 tablespoons at a
time. Spread the dough out evenly. Bake on both sides until golden brownness.


Potato pancakes can be served with any essence. A different way to serve them
is with applesauce (the most commons way they are eaten in Germany).
